ULCER

                      ULCER Ulcer is a break in the bodily membrane that stops the normal function of the affected organ.           FORMS OF ULCERS There are many forms of Ulcers that affects the human body. Upon hearing the word 'ULCER' some think that ulcer affects the stomach only, which is not true. The common Clinically identified Ulcers include: 1. PEPTIC ULCER 2. MOUTH ULCER 3. VENOUS ULCER 4. APHTHOUS ULCER 5. CORNEAL ULCER        There are also some other forms of Ulcers classified as Skin Ulcers, which includes: Genital ulcer, Anal fissures, Diabetic foot Ulcer e.t.c.               PEPTIC ULCER Peptic Ulcers or PUD ( peptic ulcer disease ) is a break in the lining of the insides of the Stomach, Small intestine, and sometimes the lower part of the Oesophagus. TUBERCULOSIS

                TUBERCULOSIS  Tuberculosis ( TB) , also known as Great white Plague     is  one of the deadliest disease of the lungs. It is an Infectious disease caused by mycobacterium tuberculosis bacteria (MTB). Tuberculosis not only affects the lungs but other parts of the body. Pulmonary tuberculosis only affects the lungs. Extrapulmonary tuberculosis do not affect the lungs but other body parts. Extrapulmonary tuberculosis mostly occurs in young children and people with weaker immune system.    Tuberculosis is hard to detect since most tuberculosis don't show symptoms until later stages. This type of tuberculosis is called Latent Tuberculosis. People with latent Tuberculosis do not spread the disease. Tuberculosis is spread from an infected person (with active TB in their lungs) to an healthy person through the air when they cough, speak or sneeze.              ...

CANCER

                        CANCER Cancer also known as malignant tumour, is known generally as a painful, wasting away illness. It is a group of diseases Involving abnormal growth of cells. These cells are called cancerous cells. Cancerous cells have the ability to spread to other unaffected parts of the body. There are over 100 types of cancers that affects the human body.              RISK FACTORS     Risk factors are things that Increases the chances of someone getting a disease. Cancer has many risk factors which makes it a hard disease to guard against. They are: SMOKING: The Use of Tobacco, Hemp, Cigarettes e.t.c could raise ones chances of getting cancer. Smoking should be reduced to a bare minimum. ALCOHOL: Excessive Intake of alcohol could increase the risk of getting cancer. Drink alcohol sparingly.
